    August 23

Wow, that was a long time.

hmm, Well it seems that i haven't been updating as much as I said I would over this summer. Ah well, I don't think i promised anyone.

    Holiday to Cornwall
So firstly, I went on holiday to Cornwall last week. It was nice for the first part of the week and I actually managed to get a, slight, sun tan (YAY!) and a slight sun burn (BOO!). But it wasn't too bad, fortunately. At least, not as bad as the sun burn i got in wales (more about that later). We went to a couple of nice places while we were there, most notably, the Eden Project:

    The Eden Project
THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Wow, the whole place is just amazing. But busy, at least when i went there. I REALLY REALLLY lament that fact that i forgot to take my camera to the centre. There were many, many, times when i coudl have got great shots.

Oh, if you don't know what the eden project is, it is basically a sciency planty centre set in a huge disused, opencast mine. You have probably seen pictures of it at one time or another. They have these 2 massive bio-domes that are made up of hundreds of hexagonal pockets of triple glazed panels filled with air made out of something called, now let me get this right: ethylenetetrafluoroethylenecopolymer Or ETFE, if you like.

Wow, that must be the longest word i've ever written on my blog.

Its amazing just the diversity of the plants they have there, and sometimes, in the tropical biodome, you can almost imagine you are in a tropical rainforest. its amazing. HOT, very very hot, but amazing.

If you are ever in cornwall I 100% recomend a visit (only 100 because saying 1,239,943,000% is just silly ).

    Holiday in Wales
You know what they say, when it rains, it pours. And when it doesn't, ITS BLOODY HOT! A couple of weeks ago I went on a trip to a house in wales, for the week. So, while i was there, I had my bike. And there was this great little winding road that went past the house up into the surrounding hills (there are hills everywhere in wales) and into some forests.

So, a couple of times i went up this road. And one time it was particularly sunny. And i got sunburnt. Which hurt. But, on he plus side, i did get to race back down the hill again at insane speeds. So fun

    Afterthought
Oh, one more thing, my GCSE results are due out on thursday, ie tomorrow. So that should be, um, interesting.
